Unrecognised Territories
Territories or regions which are not internationally acknowledged as having a legal status (even if they have de facto control of their territory) These include:

The territories listed in A, B and C, are by no means exhaustive; I just mention a few of the better
known ones in case you might have thoughts they were separate countries. I personally was very
disappointed to see that Greenland would not be an additional country, were I to visit.
There's the rub; if you're counting countries like me, then visiting any of the placed listed in A, B or C, maybe interesting and worthwhile but it will not officially add to our existing tally of countries, otherwise I could add another 20! 😊
